Position Overview:
As the Pastry Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in elevating the dessert offerings to the highest standard. Working closely with the Executive Head Chef, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from renowned 2 and 3 Michelin star restaurants, you will contribute to creating exquisite pastry creations that reflect their commitment to culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the Executive Head Chef to design and execute a world-class pastry menu.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen.
- Managing and mentoring the pastry team to ensure exceptional performance.
- Maintaining the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Implementing and adhering to stringent hygiene and food safety standards.
- Contributing creative ideas and staying updated on industry trends.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in a high-end, fine dining establishment.
- In-depth knowledge of pastry techniques, trends, and presentation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering an impeccable culinary experience.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
