Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Sous Chef to join their dynamic kitchen team. As a Junior Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining culinary standards and contribute to the continued success of this incredible restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Overseeing the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure they meet high standards.
- Supervising and mentoring kitchen staff, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborating with the team to develop and create innovative and seasonal menus.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Contributing to maintaining and improving the restaurant’s 3 rosette status.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end, rosette awarded restaurant.
- Passion for British seasonal cuisine and a commitment to quality.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude.
